Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today stated that, if necessary, he will take up an all-party delegation to Delhi and urge the Centre for justice on river water and projects related issues. AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi asked KCR in the house to take an all-party delegation to Delhi to protect projects and water of the state from Andhra Pradesh at the National level.
Reacting to Owaisi’s appeal, leader of the house KCR has said that he will consider it. If necessary we will be taking an all party delegation to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for justice in this regard. The CM recalled that he already met with Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union water resources Minister Gajendra Shekhawat on the same.

Both Modi and Shah promised to take appropriate action to do justice to our state, KCR said. He further informed that he sought the Prime Minister and Ministers concerned to postpone the Gazette notification that proposes to bring all the irrigation projects under the purview of the Krishna and Godavari boards. I urged Modi and Amit Shah to defer the Gazette Notification and they promised to take action and responded positively after getting a report. I hope that the Centre will do justice as promised by Modi and Shah, KCR stated. If necessary based on the situation we would certainly go with an all party team to Delhi, he announced.
A team of officials held a discussion on the Gazette notification in Hyderabad on Thursday. The official will submit its report to the centre to take a decision on the same.
