Women of the country will teach BJP a befitting lesson: MLC K Kavitha

BRS MLC K Kavitha strongly condemned the BJP’s atrocities against women in a scathing response to BJP State President Bandi Sanjay’s allegations. She stated that women across the country would give a resounding response to the BJP and teach the party a lesson.

Kavitha questioned why President Droupadi Murmu was not invited to the inauguration of the newly constructed Parliament and why there was no action taken against BJP MP and Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan. She did not hold back, recalling distressing incidents in which women were dragged through the streets of the national capital.

The BRS legislator lamented that the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padao” movement had devolved into mere sloganeering, failing to address the pressing issues faced by women.

She criticized the Centre for failing to prioritize women’s education and healthcare, emphasizing the dire consequences of doing so. She also stated that the BJP’s false propaganda would not deceive women.

Previously, Bandi Sanjay called out the state government on the occasion of Women’s Welfare Day celebrations, which were held as part of the Telangana State Formation Day decennial celebrations.

He claimed that the BRS government failed to show proper respect to the Governor while ignoring the welfare and safety of women. He also accused the police of harassing tribal women.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao said on Tuesday that Telangana is a model for the entire country in terms of women’s welfare.

With Telangana celebrating Women’s Welfare Day as part of the state’s Formation Day celebrations, the BRS leader took to Twitter to express his thoughts on the state government’s women’s welfare initiatives.

“She is not half of the sky, she is the sky,” KTR tweeted, adding that women are not just half of the welfare system, but the key component.

The BRS leader claimed that the KCR government is taking care of everyone., from newborn baby girls to elderly women.
