GiggleMug Events is organizing a run for women in the city to commemorate International Women’s Day. The run’s theme is promoting women’s leadership in climate action.
“Women play a crucial role in the successful transition to sustainable energy as primary energy managers in households. We want to promote actionable items that can be followed and help decrease climatic changes through this event,” the organisers said.
This run, set for March 8, is part of The Business Women Expo 2022, which is taking place from March 11 to March 13. It will be marked from the HITEX Exhibition Centre. It will also hold a 5k run (timed) in addition to the 2k run (non-timed).
The run is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m., and the runner’s group has designated two race categories, exclusively for women. There are two categories: 5 km (with timing chip) and 2 km (without timing chip).

For a 5km run, registration includes a t-shirt, snacks, a finisher medal, and a timing certificate.
Business Women Expo to take place in Hyderabad
Business Women Expo 2022 is being held in Hyderabad in March to encourage women entrepreneurship in the state. The exhibition, which will be held over three days on March 11, 12, and 13, will bring together women from various industries to network, collaborate, and celebrate women-led businesses.
The expo will commemorate women’s accomplishments, provide business possibilities, and enable networking, as well as provide a platform for women to make a comeback. Meeting, collaborating, and celebrating will be the three main sessions of the event.
