Hyderabad : The officials of the Yadadri temple on Saturday initiated steps to correct their mistakes. They removed the images of CM KCR and names of popular welfare schemes of the State government like KCR kits and Harithaharam from the columns and the walls of the temple.
They, however, kept the symbols of the scheme. Meanwhile, BJP MLA from Goshamahal T Raja Singh visited the temple and demanded that the authorities erase all the controversial images from the temple pillars and walls. He also demanded that the State government take action against those who were responsible for the controversial decision to engrave the CM’s images and others. The police made elaborate arrangements in and around the temple to avoid any untoward incident in the area. (NSS)
