YS Sharmila Protests Outside TSPSC office in Hyderabad, Demands Job Postings

YSRCP Telangana chief YS Sharmila protested at the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) office in Nampally on Monday, demanding the release of job notifications. She stayed at a sit-in protest on the road and chanted anti-Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao slogans.

She demanded that the TSPSC issue job notifications for 1.9 lakh vacant positions. Traffic in the area came to a halt as a result of the protest. Vehicles collided on the road for about an hour, resulting in a heavy traffic jam. Meanwhile, Sharmila and YSRCP party workers were detained by police. Earlier, the YSRCP Telangana chief wrote to TSPSC Chairman Janardhan Reddy requesting that job postings be made available in the state.

Sharmila also asserted that justice will be done to the unemployed youth in Telangana when a Dalit is made as to the Chief Minister. Traffic in the area came to a halt as a result of the protest. Vehicles were stranded on the road for about an hour, causing a major traffic jam. Meanwhile, Sharmila and YSRCP party workers were detained by police. Protests against power reforms will be held across the Telangana on Sunday

Barbers and washermen have taken to the streets to protest the BJP government, demanding that the power reforms be reversed. On Sunday, they also decided to hold protests across the state.

On Monday, leaders from both communities gathered in various locations throughout the city to protest the BJP government’s plans to install metres and eliminate subsidies. According to community leaders, the Centre was opposed to subsidising hereditary occupations for BCs under the guise of power reforms.
