Hyderabad: CPI secretary Ch Venkatesh Reddy today criticized the government and municipal officials on the drain and storm waters entered the cards of Osmania General Hospital.
In a joint press note of CPI, TJS, and TDP, Reddy sought the government to take immediate steps to address the problem of drain waters.
Since the pipelines of drain and storm waters were closed the waters entered the hospital. Had the civic authorities checked if on time the problem will not have taken place he said.
He suggested that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao release Rs 100 cr as he said earlier for it and build a new facility. Improve facilities and address drain problems in the hospital and the city on a permanent basis he said.
The CPI secretary also sought more budget allocations to healthcare and develop facilities.
