Agency fined Rs. 50,000 by GHMC for collecting parking fee at CTC Secunderabad

In a fine imposed on Thursday by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Venkata Sai Security was penalized Rs. 50,000 for the collection of parking fees at the Chenoy Trade Center (CTC), Secunderabad.

The enforcement cell of GHMC prepared a challan detailing the violation of GO 63 dated March 20, 2018, with regard to collecting parking fees from a vehicle owner on April 27. Activist Vijay Gopal of Hyderabad brought the agency’s faults to the GHMC’s attention, filing a complaint about the illegal collection of fees.

In addition, it has been mentioned that according to building rules, commercial establishments, malls, and multiplexes will have to provide an adequate number of off-street parking spaces in order to meet the demands generated by their employees and visitors.

The challan says leasing or misusing parking spaces in commercial buildings is illegal.

GHMC summer coaching camp inaugurated

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s (GHMC) summer coaching camp 2022 was inaugurated at the Victory Playground, Khairatabad, by Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi on Tuesday.

It is the responsibility of sports coaches is to uncover hidden talents in children and shape them into national and international players, she said.

At the inauguration, the mayor stated that it was nice to see children who participated in various sports camps this summer. “It improves their mental and physical capabilities and keeps them fit and healthy,” she said.

Furthermore, she said that it creates a positive atmosphere when children from different walks of life interact and become acquainted. By utilizing these playgrounds and sports facilities provided by the GHMC, she urged the community to take advantage of this opportunity.

A march past, a coach introduction, and the traditional sport Mallakhamba kicked off the event. Gymnasts perform aerial yoga with a hanging wooden pole in this traditional sport.
