HYDERABAD: Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TDP) state president L. Ramana today lashed out at rival BJP and said that the saffron party was showing fake love towards the founder president of their party and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state NTR. He alleged that the ruling TRS, BJP, and MIM parties were conducting a new experiment to grab the votes of the residents of the GHMC in the upcoming elections while ignoring their welfare.
Targeting CM KCR he said that the CM was scared of losing the GHMC elections especially the defeat of the party in the recent by-elections held in Dubbaka and added that the CM had declared the monetary relief of Rs.10,000 to the victims of the recent floods in the state capital. Addressing media persons at NTR Bhavan, he alleged that the ruling TRS party leaders did not leave the flood relief amount and embezzled it as well in the name of the flood-hit victims. Targeting the State Election Commission (SEC, he alleged that the election commission had taken decisions related to the GHMC elections to help the ruling TRS party.
He said that while the TDP had fielded leaders, who have worked amid the people of the city, their rival parties like TRS, BJP, and MIM parties had fielded criminals in the GHMC elections.
