K.T. Rama Rao, working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and a Telangana minister, has chastised BJP MP Bandi Sanjay for using disparaging language against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in the Lok Sabha.
Bandi Sanjay made these remarks during a debate on an opposition-led no-confidence vote. KTR expressed his concern on Twitter, referring to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification for using disparaging language against the Prime Minister. He questioned Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on the action that will be taken against Bandi Sanjay for his anti-Chief Minister remark.
Bandi Sanjay said in his address that KCR and his family members were involved in corruption. He also made a disparaging remark to KCR’s name, alluding to a contentious historical figure. K.T. Rama Rao and others criticized Bandi Sanjay’s speech for its disrespectful and derogatory tone.
