Telangana’s Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Plan Receives Environmental Clearances

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao expressed happiness after securing environmental clearances for the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation plan from the Union Environment Ministry’s Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC). This clearance is especially noteworthy because it comes at a time when the project’s first stage works are nearing completion and ready for the succeeding phases.

The clearances, according to CM KCR, will speed up the progress of the second phase, which intends to deliver irrigation water to 12.30 lakh acres of land in the former Rangareddy and Mahabubnagar districts. He added that receiving these clearances demonstrates Telangana’s commitment to fulfilling its objectives.
