Chain Snatchers snatch away gold chain in Hyderabad

A woman at Mailardevpally was robbed of a gold chain weighing about 2.5 tolas on Sunday by unidentified individuals.

The police reported that Swaroopa was walking along the road when two persons on a Pulsar bike snatched her gold chain at Mohan Reddy colony in Mailardevpally.

Upon receiving information, the police reached the scene and began efforts to identify and arrest the offenders after obtaining details from the woman.

Armed robbers attempted to rob a truck but were unsuccessful

An unidentified group of persons opened fire on a moving truck carrying an iron load on Saturday night at Tukkuguda in Shamshabad on the city’s outskirts. Police suspect that robbery gangs are responsible and no one was injured.

It is said that the suspects who came in a car opened up on the truck with two rounds of gunfire, which damaged the windshield. After being attacked, the driver escaped without injury. As a result of the failed attempt, the suspects fled the scene.

As soon as the Shamshabad police received information about the incident, they began investigating. To identify and capture the suspects, three special teams have been formed.

Twenty-two bikes are recovered from a 19-year-old thief

A 19-year-old boy was arrested by the Uppal police on Thursday for possessing a stolen bike. After he was grilled, authorities discovered that he had stolen multiple bikes before. Police said he sold bikes to rural residents with a promise to deliver documents within a month. During the night, he targeted bikes parked on the street. A total of 22 bikes were seized by the police.

Techie turns robber but is caught on the first try

A KPHB police officer caught a techie who ended up committing robbery due to financial constraints due to the pandemic. The police recovered cash and a gold chain weighing about 10 tolas from him.

An engineering graduate from Nalanda in Bihar, Gautham Raj (27), was arrested after moving to the city and living with his wife and children for the past six months in Siddiq Nagar in Hitec City.
