Dancing Police Officers at Ganesh Immersion in Hyderabad Go Viral

Police personnel were captured on tape dancing to DJ beats at Tank Bund during the Ganesh immersion festivities near Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad. Videos of their enthusiastic dancing skills rapidly went viral on social media, capturing everyone’s attention.

On September 28, nearly a lakh idols were submerged in Hussain Sagar as part of the Ganesh Shobhayatra. Necklace Road was packed with enthusiasts, as expected. Police officers stationed near an artificial immersion pond were spotted swaying to the music, offering amusement to bystanders.

One police officer, stationed on top near the barriers, did especially vigorous dancing movements, delighting the onlookers. The crowd applauded as the policemen danced to the rhythms of the popular Tamil song ‘Appadi Podu,’ blowing whistles in praise.

In the meantime, the Balapur Ganesh procession passed past Charminar on its way to Hussain Sagar for immersion. The idol was submerged in the lake after a lengthy voyage. In the afternoon, the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh procession, which went via Telephone Bhavan and the Secretariat, was peacefully immersed in Hussain Sagar.
