Due to no money for booze, man jumps to death from Gandhi Hospital

According to reports, a chronic alcoholic 40-year-old man jumped from the Gandhi Hospital’s fourth floor.

The police report that L Dharam Singh, a resident of Amrabad in Nagarkurnool district, was admitted to Gandhi Hospital as a result of his “strange” behavior. Police say Dharam Singh demanded money from family members to buy alcohol.

In the early hours of Friday morning, Dharam Singh jumped through a window on the fourth floor of the hospital after his family refused to give him money.

He was brought to Gandhi hospital a few days ago by his family for treatment due to his anxious and agitated behavior.

Since then, he has been demanding money for alcohol from his wife and family members who visit him, and when they refuse, he picks fights, police said.

In a similar incident, a 44-year-old man had jumped to his death from the eighth floor of a hospital in Banjara Hills.

According to the police, D Narsimha of Sangareddy district arrived at the hospital on Monday morning for a check-up. Doctors allegedly told him he needed surgery. He allegedly went up to the eighth floor of the building on Tuesday evening and jumped from there.

When security personnel heard a loud noise, they rushed to the scene and discovered him in a pool of blood. Doctors examined him and determined that he was deceased. The body was transferred to the mortuary at Osmania General Hospital.

In another case, a software engineer was discovered dead in mysterious circumstances after falling from a building at his home.

The man, identified as Sandeep (44), who worked as a software engineer and lived within the Miyapur police station limits, fell from the fourth floor of the building with his laptop.
