“End of uncivil war “Joe Biden takes oath as 46th president of United States

Joe Biden aged 78, has been named as the 46th and the oldest President of the United States. President Biden in his presidential inaugural speech made clear demarcations between his and Trump’s beliefs.

He stated that he is the president of all Americans, regardless of their color, race, and religious belief. Trump, by making striking remarks belittled the rivals and religious groups, referred to himself as the true American was highly condemned by the new President as he sought his supporters to apprehend such beliefs.

As Biden assumed control of the Oval Office, his first steps as POTUS was ransacking some of the unconstitutional and irrelevant decisions taken by the outgoing President. “We are going to combat the environmental crisis as it had never been done” stated the new President as he signed up the nation for the 2015 Paris climate Accords which was even backed by the ex-President Barrack Obama and then-Vice President Biden.

Jen Psaki, the spokeswoman to President Biden addressing the media announced that the first foreign leader by the new President would be the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about the Keystone XL pipeline between Canada and United States.

Biden upon the strong opposition and recommendations of environmentalists had blocked the pipeline but it was backed by the Canadian capital Ottawa office.

President Biden also put an end to the construction of Trump’s Dream wall between the US-Mexican Border to prevent immigrant entry. President also ceased the exit of the United States from the World Health Organization and also lifted the ban of immigrants from several Muslim-dominated countries. “Democracy is fragile, democracy is precious and right now democracy has prevailed.

We must put an end to this uncivil war that has torn the nation apart, that has brought the red against the blue, the rural against the urban and the liberals against the conservatives” stated the President in an attempt to remind the nation of the true American spirit.

Targeting Trump who broke a 152-year-old tradition of the US president’s inauguration by abstaining from the ceremony, confronted his actions which lead to the embarrassing riot on the Capitol Building and the march organized by Neo-Nazis in Charlottesville.

Referring to these incidents as a threat to democracy and the rise of domestic terrorism and political extremism, he asserted that the nation must confront and put an end to it.

Biden who is the first Roman Catholic President since John F. Kennedy in his inaugural speech at National hall swearing to his age-old family Bible that together the nation will write the American story of hope, light, and unity and not fear, darkness, and division.

Kamala Harris also made history by becoming the first black lady and first of Asian descent to become the Vice President of the United States. It was her tie-breaking vote that brought the Democratic party into the majority and regaining control of the Senate.

Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff- the first ‘Second  Gentleman’ of United States became- were escorted by Eugene Goodman, a Black officer who broke the White mob dominance in the Senate Chambers.
