Trump’s accepts Biden’s victory but calls elections “rigged”

After days of defying the election results, it seems like President Donald Trump has finally acknowledged Joe Biden’s victory, though he believes it to be a fraud. The Republican, while terming the elections as “rigged”, repeated his stance on the alleged “voting fraud” after his Democratic competitor won the November 3rd’s Presidential elections of the US.

Joe Biden secured strong domination in the elections by winning over 5.5 million votes more than Trump.

The Republican, who came to power after his surprising win of 2016 beating Hillary Clinton, posted a tweet in which he enlisted unverified accusations of fraud against Biden and the company handling the elections.

“He won because the Election was Rigged. NO VOTE WATCHERS OR OBSERVERS allowed, vote tabulated by a Radical Left privately owned company, Dominion, with a bad reputation & bum equipment that couldn’t even qualify for Texas (which I won by a lot!), the Fake & Silent Media, & more!,” read his Sunday morning’s tweet.

In a bid to challenge the results, Trump’s campaign filed lawsuits in states where Biden won. However, they have gained no benefit so far and according to experts, there isn’t any measurable chance of the Republican’s actions or lawsuits changing the results.

Election officials have confirmed the absence of any evidence supporting major changes in the election.

The Democratic party and other critics have denounced the President for making attempts to state Biden’s victory as unlawful along with trying to pull down the public’s belief in the American electoral procedure. It is to note that prior to the elections, the Republican had refused to give his commitment for a peaceful transfer of Presidential power if he loses.

Although Trump’s refusal to acknowledge the proven fact of Biden’s Presidency did not alter the reality, it is however acting as a hurdle in the preparations to welcome the new President in the White House.

This is due to the Trump’s administration unacceptance of Biden’s victory and their refusal to allow Biden and his team from utilizing the office and the fundings which are generally needed to afford the newly elected President’s smooth entry into the administration’s operations.

This has also occurred as the General Services Administration, the federal agency responsible for furnishing the resources hasn’t recognized Biden’s victory.

Yet, Biden has started his plans to set up the new Cabinet and is handling the congratulatory calls from various leaders around the globe. He has also designed the policies, which he aims to work on post his swearing ceremony. His private meeting with advisors is expected to be continued on Sunday as well.

The election results show Biden’s victory with 306 votes, which is a far greater number than 270 that is necessarily required to win.

Interestingly, Trump has garnered the same figure in his 2016’s win.

Trump’s supporters had filled streets with campaigns supporting the President. He waved out to his voters sitting in the back seat of his motorcade.

There was a report of stabbing on a person who was rushed to emergency care. Other than that, the rally was majorly peaceful.
