Ensure Better Services to Corona Patients: CM Tells Officials

Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao today instructed officials to give jabs to patients of corona in a hassle-free manner. The chief minister stated that the cases are under control and people avoid fear and follow protocols to check virus infection. As the state is against the lockdown that will deprive people of income and business, the chief minister asked officials for more facilities and treatment in the hospitals.

After recovering from corona, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao held a meeting at Pragathi Bhavan with chief secretary Somesh Kumar, health secretary Rizvi,  director Dr. Srinivas Rao, DME Ramesh Reddy, and officials concerned.

On the occasion, the chief minister took stock of the situation and instructed to provide more oxygen, ventilator beds, and injections to the symptomatic patients.  He opined that there shall not be complaints from people on the availability of the beds, oxygen, and jabs being offered in the hospitals. Take stringent action against the pirate hospitals if violate norms on fees and services he directed.

According to a health bulletin the state today saw  6026 cases out of 475748 and recovered 6551 cases out of 396042 and deaths were put at 52 out of 2579 so far and the fatality rate is low at .54 percent and the national fatality rate put at 1.1 percent

The state sees about 4,75,748 cases, with more recoveries of  3,96,048 cases the people should avoid fear and face with courage following protocols to avoid virus infection.

KCR instructed the officials to conduct inoculation drives and give medical kits to people to stop them at the primary level.

Stating that the medical kits be given in a hassle-free manner at all levels, KCR directed that the people should not panic and avoid the fear of virus infection through the media, he reportedly said.

The Chief Minister has directed the officials to offer improved services in the hospitals and health centers at all levels. There are 17 RTPCR labs and 14 more will come up soon the officials informed. The state has 6 metric tons of oxygen while the Centre gives 4 MT Oxygen and the state has 52000 oxygen beds and has 4 lakhs vials of injections and will give to people as per availability and norms.

Since the state feels against the lockdown which is imposed in neighboring AP and other states, the Telangana government is rather cautious on the lockdown as it will deprive businesses, people, and workers of their business, employment, and income for livelihood.

Stating that there is no use in imposing any Lockdown in the state, the chief minister has asked Somesh Kumar and others to take more steps to ensure in place the injections, oxygen, beds, and enable get jabs.

Somesh Kumar informed that there is no need for any lockdown as it will deprive the people of work and income to live. KCR asked the officials to act swiftly to attend to the symptomatic patients.  He said that corona under control and case spread is contained as we have an adequate number of beds, oxygen, injections, and facilities in all districts and give medical kits in a hassle-free manner.
