As per reports, some of the users have wrote to Facebook that they want more inspiring and uplifting content on their News Feed as it motivates them. Gupta in her statement said that they are running a series of global tests that will survey people and understand the posts they find inspirational. She said that they will incorporate their responses as a method of putting the types of posts in ranks. This will ensure that the type of posts people want to see the most is on top of their news feed.

The survey will ask people about the kind of posts they wish to see more and the posts they don’t want to engage a lot with. Based on their feedback, Facebook will work towards the topics that are generally interesting to people. And show fewer posts about the topics that people may not show much interest in.

Facebook To Lessen Content With Negative Experiences

In the statement Astha Gupta said that they have been receiving feedback that their users are seeing too much of content related to politics and other posts and comments that makes their News Feed experience not very pleasant.
