On Wednesday, a Class 10 student died after being allegedly attacked by his classmates following a dispute while playing cricket in the classroom.
According to the police, the victim, Syed Mansoor (15), a resident of Yousufguda, was a student at Krishnanagar’s Sai Krupa High School. Mansoor, along with a few others, was playing cricket in the classroom on Wednesday afternoon when an argument erupted between him and others.
“During the argument, a number of his classmates attacked him, after which he collapsed. He was taken to a private hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead,” according to Jubilee Hills police.

A case has been registered, and an inquiry is being conducted.

A BTech student was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances at Chandanagar police station limits.
According to a report in the Hans India, the victim has been identified as Soujanya, who had lost her father Venkata Chary to Covid-19 last year, leaving her family in financial distress.
According to locals, a man went to Soujanya’s house and the latter sounded an alarm. The man ran out saying that he would get a doctor, locals said, adding that Soujanya was seen lying on the floor in an unconscious state and was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Soujanya used to live with her family in Seri Lingampally’s Dubey colony before her father died, according to police. Her married elder sister, on the other hand, used to live in Moinabad as she was married.
A case has been filed at the Chanda Nagar police station, and an investigation has begun.
