Four men sentenced to jail by Hyderabad SHE Teams

According to the latest reports, She Teams caught four men harassing women and sentenced them to varying jail terms.

The first case involved D Diwakar (23) of Miryalaguda who morphed pictures of a woman he downloaded from Facebook and blackmailed her, asking her to maintain a relationship with him. A five-day jail sentence was imposed on him.

A second case involved Mohd Waseem of Ferozeguda who had been harassing his girlfriend and blackmailing her. The victim and Waseem maintained a friendly relationship, and both of them moved together.

She proposed to him, but he declined. After the girl started avoiding him, he threatened to inform her mother-in-law in the future if she did not answer his video calls. He was sentenced to eight days in prison by the court.

In the third case, M Shiva Kumar (31) was jailed for eight days. Having divorced his wife a year ago, Shiva recently reconnected with a school friend. When he harassed her for marriage, she approached the police.

A fourth case involved Taher Miya (38) of Karnataka being caught by the She Teams for improperly touching women in a market. Imprisonment of seven days was imposed on him.

She Teams also assisted two victims in registering FIRs at Bowenpally and Kachiguda police stations.

A 58-year-old man was arrested by Bowenpally police for sending porn video clips to a woman. The victim’s phone number was obtained by Raisuddin of Mallepally, who sent her porn clips regularly. As soon as she changed her number, he managed to obtain the new one and continued harassing her.

Another case involved T Akhil, (29) of Madhapur, who was arrested for cheating on his girlfriend. Police said Akhil had a relationship with a girl, but a few days ago, he told her he was engaged to another girl and would marry her due to his parents’ insistence.

He also tried to persuade the first girl by saying he would divorce his wife and marry her later. A case was filed by Kachiguda police, but it was transferred to Madhapur police on jurisdictional grounds.
