HYDERABAD: Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao today launched a scathing attack on the Modi government for what he called the farm laws as against the people of the country.
The State government will support the nationwide protest on December 8 he said.
Talking to presspersons here he accused the Modi Government of favouring the corporate sector and dumping the farmers through the new farm acts. He slammed that the BJP Regime of Modi is unable to understand the farmer’s woes and got the laws against their future.It is uncalled for the farmers who are on a warpath for the 12th consecutive day..The minister said that the corporate sector is to loot the farmers denying them of MSP and their produce will be ruined. Harish Rao asked the farming associations, political parties to support Bharat Bandh for the cause of the farmers on Dec 8. The entire country is opposing the farm laws and Modi should cancel them, the minister demanded.
The government in the center is all set to deceive the farmers of the country who produce food for the people he deplored. The BJP regime has to cancel the farm laws and ensure the old laws prevail for the better future of the farmers in the country, he suggested.
Instead of taking welfare schemes like the KCR government the Modi regime is indulging anti farmers laws he alleged. Ministers Srinivas Yadav lashed out at the Modi Government on the same and demanded to roll back the black laws of the farm sector.
The minister said to take up a bike rally in the city on Tuesday in support of the national wide protest. We will make it a success and people, business and trade wings should support the same he urged. Panchayat Raj Minister E Dayakar Rao has accused Modi of resorting to dictatorial rule to dump the farmers.No country was happy that ruined the farmers the minister alleged. The minister said that soon Telangana will achieve the first position in IT exports in the country.
