Nitish Kumar denies RJD protest against farm law

The district administration of Patna has rejected the application of (RJD) Rashtriya Janata Dal’s to protest at Gandhi maidan against the farm law made by the central government.

Following the denied permission to hold a protest inside Gandhi maidan RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav lashes at chief minister Nitish Kumar and said ” Followers of Nathuram Godse arrived in Patna and compassionate Nitish Kumar has held the statue of Mahatma Gandhi inside Gandhi Maidan captive to please them so that followers of Gandhi ideology would not take an oath to support farmers.”

“I am reaching there. If you are capable, stop me,” Tejashwi said in a tweet

The district magistrate of Patna Kumar Ravi told that dharna inside Gandhi maidan is not allowed. and also said “Hence, we have rejected the application of Rashtriya Janata Dal’s. We only allow an individual to pay respect to the Mahatma Gandhi statue. For dharna, we have already allocated a place at Gardanibagh locality.”

Leaders of Rashtriya Janata Dal’s have stated demonstration at Gandhi maidans gate. Rashtriya Janata Dal’s spokesperson Chitranjan Gagan said “We have staged dharnas in the past. If the district administration can give us permission for political rallies that have a large magnitude, why we are being denied permission of holding a stir?

It is a Tuglaki government’s rule in state which is making all possible efforts to suppress the voice of opposition parties and farmers of the country. We will not allow them to do so.”
