Two staff working for an allied firm of a private airline operating at the airport have been charged with harassing a female co-worker, according to police at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
Two suspected workers were accused of misbehaving, harassing, and abusing a 36-year-old woman who worked in their airport office.
The victim said in a complaint that the harassment had been going on for four months and that they had recently verbally insulted her and threatened to hurt her.

She Teams ensuring women’s safety.
From dealing with online harassers, roadside stalkers, and domestic abuse to assuring justice and legal help, the She Teams of the Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda commissionerates were successful in providing a sense of safety and support to women whenever they needed it.
The teams aided sexual harassment victims in submitting 438 First Information Reports (FIR) with various law enforcement and cybercrime organisations in 2021. The offences ranged from online stalking and harassment to physical harassment and violence.
In October 2014, then-Commissioner of Police M Mahender Reddy launched the She Teams in Hyderabad. The concept gradually extended across Telangana, with teams committed entirely to safeguarding women’s safety and security in all commissionerates and districts.
Education about women’s legal rights and laws is an important part of the She Team idea. It might be on the streets, in workplaces, or even in people’s homes, or it could be through online channels such as social media. More ladies are approaching us as a result of it, she explained.

The She Teams frequently connect with those working in BPOs, IT enterprises, and other organisations in Cyberabad’s IT corridor with the help of local volunteer groups.
In the IT corridor, margadarshak activities are organised, and volunteers are trained to attend to the concerns of women working in IT organisations, Cyberabad DCP (She Teams) C Anasuya said.
Decoy operations are carried out to apprehend individuals pestering ladies, and offenders are counselled, she explained.
While secret cameras tape the entire episode, the teams wander around public places looking for instances of female harassment. The crew apprehends the stalkers and transports them to the police station with evidence of the crime. Depending on the type and severity of the crime, cases are brought against the perpetrators under appropriate legal rules. “Every year, the functioning of the She Teams improves dramatically. The She Teams receive a wide range of concerns, which we handle professionally and with the help of counsellors. Our officers, along with the victim, proceed to the local police station to file an FIR and follow up on the cases when necessary “SK Saleema, Rachakonda DCP (She Teams), stated.
The She Teams, regardless of commissionerate, make every effort to reach out to women and girls. Since the concept was introduced, the She Teams in Hyderabad have reached out to a few million women through direct contact programmes, according to a top police official in Hyderabad.
