Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited annoucned that the statutory inspection of Overhead Electric Traction System (OETS) between Panjagutta to LB Nagar Metro stations and accorded sanction for energisation of OETS at 25kV AC.
LTMRHL said that the traction system was fed from the 132kV/25kV Receiving Substation (RSS) of the Hyderabad Metro Rail at MGBS. Incoming supply to this RSS is drawn from 220kV/132kV main substation of TS TRANSCO.
“This is an important milestone for Corridor I. We are thankful to the CEIG for inspecting and approving stage Ameerpet- LB Nagar energisation from Punjagutta to LB Nagar,” LTMRHL MD and CEO KVB Reddy said.
He also said this would enable LTMRHL to test other systems of the Metro Rail and thereby start trial runs as per its commitment to complete all statutory requirements.
