KTR holds review meeting on IT sector

HYDERABAD: State IT minister KT Rama Rao today held a review meeting on the IT sector of the State. The higher-ups of the department attended the meeting. The meeting has discussed several important topics. He held a review meeting on the issue of the expansion of the sector to second-grade cities of the state.

 The minister said that they were making plans to expand the sector to Mahbubnagar, Khammam, and Warangal cities and added that he would inaugurate an IT tower in Khammam on Monday. He said that several companies were already running their operations from the Warangal city. He said that more number of IT companies would function from the Warangal city. He inquired for the officials about the arrangements being made for the second phase expansion of the IT sector in the Warangal town.

The minister said that two prominent IT companies would set up their operations in Warangal very soon. KTR said that the policy introduced by the state government growth in disruption was receiving Great response in the state. He also found out about the action plan being made to set up the IT parks in Uppal and Nacharam industrial areas.
