The doctor, a senior resident C. Balasubramanian additionally claimed that the Manager of the IOB had treated him and his engineer associate, who was accompanying him, without any respect.

The bank has transferred the Manager to the Regional Office in Trichy.

As per Balasubramanian, he was a customer of the IOB for quite a while and had moved toward the Jayamkondam branch and met the Manager Vishal Kamble for a loan to construct a building.

The doctor furthermore showed the manager property papers to be given as the guarantee for the loan.

As the property papers were Tamil, the Kamble supposedly said to Balasubramanian that he doesn’t have a clue about the language of the state and asked whether the doctor knows Hindi.

As per Balasubramanian, he told the manager that he would clarify the documents in English to which the manager disagreed and declined the loan saying that it is a language issue.

The doctor said the manager could have dismissed the loan for a substantial reason. Yet, he said he was from Maharashtra and dismissed the loan due to the language issue.

Later on, Kamble was moved by IOB to Trichy locale.

As indicated by the IOB, the bank standards don’t permit loaning to an individual who is over 70 years of age.
