Hyderabad: Several organizations have contributed large donations to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support the State government’s measures to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus. Cheques were handed over to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao by the representatives of the organizations concerned at Pragathi Bhavan here.
Hetero Drugs donated Rs 5 crore and Rs 5 crore worth medicines (Hydroxychloroquine, Ritonavir, Lopinavir, Oseltamivir) to the government. Hetero Chairman Parthasarathy Reddy, Director Ratnakar Reddy handed over the cheque to the CM and medicines to Medical & Health Minister Etela Rajender.
Telangana Motor Vehicle Inspectors Association contributed Rs 1.5 crore and a cheque to this amount was given by Association’s president K Paparao and others to the Chief Minister.
Suven Pharma gave Rs one crore donation. Suven Pharma Chairman Venkat Jasthi handed over the Cheque to the CM. NCC Limited gave Rs one crore. NCC MD A Rangaraju handed over the cheque to the CM. The Chaitanya Educational Institutions gave Rs one Crore and the cheque was handed over to the Chief Minister by Institutions Director Y Sridhar.
