Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today wrote an open letter to Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and urged him to take steps for addressing all problems related to Dharani website.
In his letter, he alleged that the launch of the Dharani Portal had created new problems for the farmers instead of solving their age-old land disputes. He also alleged that the dharani portal had increased the problems of the farmers instead of reducing them.

Citing that the agriculture property registrations through the dharani portal were launched 11 months back, he said that the number of applications received by the district collectors of the state about prohibited properties reached the mark of 1 lakh.
He said that he was clueless about the preparedness of the state government to solve such a huge number of problems.
