New Link Road Planned for Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is making preparations to open a new link road to enhance traffic management at the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge. GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose conducted an inspection of the site on Tuesday, as the NCC company has stepped forward to construct this link road under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The upcoming link road will extend from the main entrance of Durgam Cheruvu to the cable bridge, running alongside the footpath. This road is set to replace the existing cable bridge road, providing a smoother traffic flow for commuters heading towards Madhapur and Jubilee Hills Road No. 36, without causing any disruptions.

During his inspection, Commissioner Ronald Rose instructed the relevant officials to expedite the land acquisition process required for the construction of this road and promptly relocate any utilities that may be affected.
