Osmania University administered the Telangana Law Common Entrance Test (TG LAWCET-2024) and TG PGLCET-2024 on Monday to facilitate admissions to LLB and LLM programs offered by the university and affiliated private colleges in Telangana State for the academic year 2024-25, acting on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education.
Approximately 79.45 percent of students participated in the examination, which adhered to the scheduled dates of June 3. The exams were conducted in three sessions: the first session took place in the morning from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, the second session in the afternoon from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, and the third session in the evening from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Out of the 50,684 students who registered for the exams, 49,231 were from Telangana, and 1,453 were from Andhra Pradesh. Of these, 40,268 students appeared for the exams, with 39,228 from Telangana and 1,040 from Andhra Pradesh.
Officials overseeing the initial configuration drive of the TG LAWCET and PGLCET-2024 included M Dana Kishore, In-charge Vice-Chancellor of OU and Chairman of TG LAWCET and PGLCET – 2024; Prof. R Limbadri, Chairman of the Telangana Council of Higher Education; Prof. SK Mahamood, Vice-Chairman of the Telangana Council of Higher Education; Prof. P Laxminarayana, Registrar of Osmania University; and Prof. B Vijayalaxmi, Convener of TS LAWCET and PGLCET-2024, also the Director of the Legal Cell.

The preliminary key for the exams will be released on June 6 on the website https://lawcet.tsche.ac.in/. Candidates are permitted to submit objections to the preliminary key until June 7.
