“Rate card for crime services”- UP criminals’ latest offering to “customers”

You might be aware of the menu cards offered in restaurants and other service providing stations, but have you ever heard of a “rate card for crime services”? Well, now you have.

The feat is garnered as a report from the northern state of India, Uttar Pradesh where the majority of the crimes are being offered at a specific rate, including murder.

The “rate card”, which has been publicly offered, has been formulated by a cluster of crime gangsters from Muzaffarnagar of UP. The list shows a variety of services the criminals are willing to do for their “customer” at the mentioned price tag.

The shocking incident came to light when a youngster, belonging to the group of criminals, posted his pictures on social media. In one of the images, he can be seen holding a pistol in his hand, likely showing that they possess the equipment to execute the “service”. Next picture includes the menu card they made that enlists all the crimes for the rate written next to it.

The never-heard-before rate card has services and their prices given as Rs.1000 for threatening someone for whatever the customer wills, Rs.5000 to beat a person up, Rs.10,000 to beat up a person or hurt him to the extent that he suffers injuries, and finally Rs.55,000 to kill a person.

The literal name of the group mentioned below the prices is “Devil group”. This weird group goes out to add a note regarding the “satisfactory results” of their service to the customer, along with provisions of resolving disputes related to land grabbing.

The image holds a message saying, “To beat someone up, call on this number”, followed by the group’s mobile number, that seems like an odd toll-free number.

In an aim to provide a sort of “relief” to the customer, the rate card mentions that all the weapons will be brought by the criminals themselves and they also carry a ‘desikatta’ or pistol.

Obvious as it is, the menu card for the crimes quickly got viral and came to the notice of the police. The UP cops immediately got to work and found the man in the picture who claimed to do the obnoxious deeds for money.

The youngster belongs to the Chowkada village that falls under the Charathaval police station. He is told to be the son of a soldier from PRD.

The circle officer of the Sadar police station, Kuldeep Kumar said in a statement to the media that the case is being probed and due action will be carried out following the complete investigation which is believed to be done soon.
