Revanth Reddy Criticizes BRS and AIMIM

Revanth Reddy, the president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), has criticized the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM), claiming that voting for either of these parties is effectively voting for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

He contended that the BRS has constantly backed the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in passing major measures in Parliament that the Congress opposed.Revanth Reddy further accused AIMIM of fooling the minority community for decades, claiming that despite AIMIM’s claim to represent 50 lakh Muslims, the minority community remains underdeveloped.

He decried dropping literacy rates, excessive unemployment, and a lack of basic municipal services in Hyderabad’s Old City, claiming that the BRS and AIMIM are allied with the BJP while the Congress is committed to secularism.

Revanth Reddy also stated that key Congress leaders such as Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and others will be visiting Telangana shortly to reveal the party’s manifesto and publish the first list of candidates for the upcoming Telangana elections.
