Rs 3.75 cr money seized, Hawala racket busted in banjara hills, Hyderabad

Hyderabad police on Tuesday busted an asserted ‘hawala’ racket by capturing four people and seized onto Rs 3.75 crore money from them.

Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said two vehicles were also likewise seized from the hawala racket.


Following up on a tip-off, the Commissioner’s Task Force (West) made the captures. The captured were described as Rathod Kanak Singh Natura (42), Harish Ram Bhai Patel (35), Ajith Singh (34) and Eshwar Dileep Solanki (29), all from Gujarat and living in Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.

On trustworthy data that four people were moving in two vehicles with immense money, police blocked two vehicles on Road No 12, Banjara Hills. The four residents were conveying Rs 3.75 crore money with no legitimate archives.

Their cross-examination uncovered that they are working for P.Vijay and Company, Mumbai and its proprietor Kamlesh Shah, a local of Ahmedabad, has a branch office at Hyderabad.

On Monday Solanki and Patel came to Hyderabad in a Mahindra Scorpio to gather the money from Dinesh and Giri who were working at the branch office in Banjara Hills. They collected the money on Tuesday and all the four were traveling in two vehicles to Solapur.

Police presume the sum is important for a hawala exchange.

The Police Commissioner said the held onto sum will be given over to the Income Tax Department for additional important activity. The people who are in control of cash will be inspected by the Income Tax office.
