State government giving top priority to law and order: KTR

IT Minister KT Rama Rao stated that the state government prioritizes law and order. He said that Telangana was giving the best policing services to the public.

On Wednesday, Rama Rao said a number of revolutionary initiatives were taken to protect law and order, including the installation of 80 CCTV cameras from Jillella check-post to Sircilla, Agraharam, Nandikaman, and Venkatraopalli borders. A modern and well-equipped command control center was established in Hyderabad for the first time in the country, from which even minor incidents occurring anywhere in the State can be investigated.

The state government was providing full support to the police, who were working with the goal of providing public security. Investments in the state had increased as a result of the strong law and order, Rama Rao said, saying that employment opportunities for youth also increased with the establishment of new firms.

KT Rama Rao also said that Telangana’s journey in the medical and health sector is a new chapter in the country’s history. With the facilities developed in government hospitals over the last nine years, the state’s public health system has become a model for the nation.

In the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, the public health system was neglected, and people were afraid to seek treatment at government hospitals. Poets and journalists used to write satirical captions like “Nenu Ranu Biddo Sarkaru Dawakhanaku” (I will not visit the government hospital for treatment). This had now changed to “Chalo Podam Padara Sarkaru Dawakhanaku” (let us visit the government hospital for treatment), he said.
