Telangana to Witness More Rain for Next Three Days

Telangana has been grappling with gloomy weather for over two weeks, with heavy rainfall keeping sunshine at bay. Now, residents brace for more showers as the Hyderabad Meteorological Center has forecast further rainfall for the next three days, from September 6 to 8, following the development of two low-pressure systems over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area has formed near the Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coasts in the Bay of Bengal. Additionally, a surface circulation system has developed at an altitude of 8 kilometers above sea level, moving in a southwesterly direction. Initially, only a low-pressure system was affecting the region, but with the onset of surface circulation, the state is expected to witness heavier downpours in some areas.

The forecast suggests light to moderate rains across Telangana during this period. On September 6, certain regions are likely to experience heavy rainfall, while September 7 and 8 will see moderate rains across the state. Additionally, gusty winds with speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are predicted during this time.

The Meteorological Department has assured that while the rains will continue, there is no immediate threat of torrential downpours, though residents should remain alert in areas prone to heavy rains. This weather pattern continues to add to the state’s already waterlogged conditions, further intensifying the rainy spell experienced in recent weeks.

Residents are advised to stay updated with weather warnings and take necessary precautions, especially in areas that are vulnerable to heavy rainfall and potential flooding.
