Telangana: TSRTC bus catches fire near Jadcherla

On Monday, a fire broke out and completely gutted a TSRTC bus near Chittiboinpally village on National Highway 44, threatening passengers with certain death.

According to reports, the bus was traveling from Kurnool to Hyderabad. The fire broke out in the engine of the bus as it reached Chitti Boyinpally village near Jadcherla town in Mahabubnagar district.

It took only a few minutes for the bus driver to stop and evacuate the passengers. As passengers exited the bus, flames engulfed it and the vehicle was completely destroyed.

Fire tenders arrived at the scene after the bus driver called the fire department, but the bus had been completely destroyed by the time they arrived. A short circuit in the electric system caused the accident, according to the investigation. It was a narrow escape for the passengers.

Two persons burnt to death in car accident

Police said two people were charred to death when their car rammed into a stationary truck in Telangana’s Nizamabad district early Monday.

In the early hours of the morning, the incident took place close to Velpur crossroads. A fire broke out in the car after the collision. The two occupants were caught in flames and burned alive.

It was noticed by passers-by who alerted the police. The blaze was put out by a fire engine, but by then, the car was completely gutted and both people on board had been burned to death.

According to a police official, the car (Maruti Alto) was traveling from Korutla to Armoor. The driver failed to notice the stationary truck and slammed into it.

According to police, the truck’s driver parked it carelessly after the vehicle broke down. The deceased was identified by police using the vehicle’s license plate. Sumanth and Anil’s charred remains were taken to a government hospital.
