On Tuesday, a 28-year-old mother, apparently overwhelmed by financial difficulties, committed suicide with her two young children in Hyderabad. According to authorities, the mom plunged into a water sump at her home with her three and five-year-old sons.
According to preliminary investigation, the woman borrowed roughly Rs 4 lakh from a family and others, and the pressure to repay the amount may have pushed her to take such severe action. Some relatives have reportedly claimed that the woman lost money while playing online games, and the police are looking into this as well.
The bodies have been removed from the water sump and will be autopsied. In connection with the occurrence, a case has been filed. It is a heartbreaking reminder of the need of addressing mental health and offering assistance to those in financial need
