According to locals, two sisters and their children jumped into Ashok Nagar Lake. Prompt intervention by onlookers resulted in the successful rescue of four people from the water. Despite the rescue efforts, the small kid unfortunately drowned in the lake.
Police preliminary investigations have shown that the family may have been pushed to such drastic steps due to their dissatisfaction with the selling of their land. The police have opened an inquiry into the incident and are working to determine the exact circumstances that led to the attempted suicide.
This upsetting episode serves as a reminder of the significance of addressing mental health issues and offering assistance to individuals and families who require it. It is critical for communities to provide an environment in which those experiencing difficulties can seek assistance and discover the resources they need to overcome their troubles.
