According to Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, TRS’ victory in the Munugode assembly constituency is inevitable.
As he flagged off a huge rally from West Marredpally municipal grounds to Munugode for the public meeting of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, he said the by-election was necessitated by the selfish political interests of a few people.
Can BJP MLAs tell us how much funds the central government contributed to the constituencies won by them, the Minister asked, stating that the TRS victory was certain in Munugode. Telangana is leading the way in implementing development and welfare programs in the country, he said.
It was the State government’s policy to build free double-bedroom houses for the poor and to provide financial assistance under Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes, he said, adding that no other state conducted such development and welfare programs.
Under TRS government rule, several industrialists were establishing their companies in the state with the government’s encouragement, the Minister said, and people of all sections were happy.
CM KCR left for the Munugode Assembly constituency on Saturday, leading a massive rally from here to launch the TRS campaign for the upcoming by-election. CM KCR left his official residence Pragati Bhavan in a bus, assisted by some ministers and leaders of the TRS.

His convoy of vehicles was being joined on the road by a large number of cars. The rally caused a massive traffic jam from Uppal to L. B. Nagar on the city’s outskirts.
Ministers, MPs, and MLAs left in convoys from various locations for Chotuppal, where KCR will address a public meeting later in the day. Talasani Srinivas Yadav and 400 vehicles left Hyderabad for Choutuppal. Former minister and MLA D. Nagender was leading a 300-car rally. The rally began on Hyderabad’s Necklace Road.
