Unseasonal rain slows AC and coolers sales

People have hardly felt the heat since the summer season started this year. Last year the situation was such that AC and coolers started running in people’s houses as soon as summer started.

However, this year unseasonal rains have given people relief from the heat. In such a situation, people have bought very few AC coolers this year. They have postponed the purchase of AC in April and May.

This year unseasonal rains have given AC companies sweat. From April to May, the purchase of AC, coolers, and refrigerator has decreased drastically. According to the AC manufacturers, the purchase of cooling products is currently closed.

Purchases fell by 15 percent.
AC manufacturing companies say that the stranded period since April has been the coldest for the AC business. Every year, this month used to be the most profitable for them as summer started. But, this year’s rains have ruined their budget.

Compared to last year, their business has decreased by 15% this year. However, companies like Panasonic, Voltas, and Carrier feel that their market will turn green again after the rains.

Purchases may increase.
According to AC companies, April may have been the coldest month. But this is only the beginning. In the coming time, the heat may rise and then people may come to the market to buy AC. As the weather has returned to normal due to the rains, those who had postponed the purchase of AC can buy AC coolers when the heat rises in the coming time.
