Hyderabad: In a major development to avoid problems on getting voter identification cards, the Centre today informed that all the voters can get their voter ID cards on theirs mobile phones.
To mark Epic day on Jan 25 the center has made arrangements for downloading of the same through their registered mobile numbers.
This facility will be launched on Jan 25 to mark EPIC day they said. They can be downloaded on mobile phones and get them printed anywhere. The state election commission officials informed this.
Instead of going round to mee-Seva centers, the people can get the same on their mobile phones.
They can enter the details in the mobile application, websites given, and using Android phones the work gets done from Feb 1, they clarified.
Newly registered voters can get this facility from Jan 25 to 31, the officials said. Awareness programs to be conducted on e-voter have digital, select your epic, the election officials said.
