Woman Gives Birth During BSEB Class 10 Exam

In recent updates from Bihar, a new case of birth has come to the light. A woman in her early twenties gave birth in the middle of her class 10th examinations.

As per the latest reports, a woman in her twenties named Shanti Devi was giving her class 10th examinations at the Mahant Darshan Das Mahila College Examination Centre. The centre is located at the Muzaffarpur District of Bihar.

The reports suggest that Shanti Devi started to have labor pain in the middle of the exams in the second shift. She had written an exam only for one hour when she was rushed to the hospital. Soon after her labour pain started, the invigilator informed the Central in-charge about her condition. Immediately, the in charge asked her to lay down in a separate room and the information was then passed to the District Education Official.

Later, she was sent to the Sadar Hospital and gave birth to a healthy boy. Her husband Birju Sehni said that she was only able to attempt the objective type questions before her labour pain began. He further said that both the mother and child are okay. Reports suggest that Shanti Devi had named her son, “Imtihaan”.

Birju said that God gave him a son during the examination which is the reason why they have named their son, “Imtihaan”. He said that Shanti Devi wants to study further and take a job.

Bihar Board Cancels Social Science Exam For Class 10th

As per the latest updates in the Bihar Class 10th exams, the exam for Social Science has been cancelled by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). This comes after the question paper of Social Science was leaked before the exam could begin.

The incident of the Social Science question paper being leaked came to be known when a source informed the board that somebody had leaked the question paper via a picture on whatsapp just before the exam started.

Soon after the news, BSEB cancelled the paper for which 8.46 lakh students applied for. The re-examination, only for the candidates of the first shift, is scheduled to be on March 8, 2021. As per the statement released by the BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor, the paper got leaked from Jamui, Bihar. It was leaked by a contractual staff at the Jhajha branch of State bank of India named Vikar Kumar. He first leaked the question paper to a relative who was appearing for the exam and it got distributed further.
