Workers People Face Music as Police Slap Fine on Lockdown 2.0 Second Day

On the second day of Lockdown 2.0 in Telangana, several people faced music from the police on the main roads. To check the spread of corona the state-imposed the lockdown for 10 days beginning on Tuesday and gave some relief on the first day.

At several places in the city, the police who monitored the traffic movement has seized the vehicles and slapped a fine of Rs 1000 on each violator.

They were seen giving counseling to the people coming outside after 10 am which they are not supposed to. The top police monitored the situation and asked the people not to come out to protect from virus spread. The cases rise in the second wave and staying at homes is safe to get rid of the problem, they said.

The lockdown which came into force on Tuesday and will continue for 10 days has hit hard the working class and small traders in the city and districts. With this all shops, business establishments were closed after relief for four hours from 6 am to 10 am enabling people to purchase essential commodities.
