Asaduddin Owaisi to Mamata: Muslim voters are not your “jagir”

Hyderabad: A day after Trinamool Congress leader and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said that the BJP is giving money to the party from Hyderabad to cut down votes in the upcoming Assembly elections, AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi slam back at her by saying that the Muslim voters were not her “jagir(property)”.

AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted that Mamata Banerjee does not like Muslims who think and speak for themselves.

Rubbishing on the allegation by Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi commented that nobody can buy him with money.

AIMIM chief Assaduddin Owais tweeted “So far you’ve only dealt with obedient Mir Jeffers & Sadiq’s. You don’t like Muslims who think & speak for themselves,”

Asaduddin Owaisi said the Trinamool Congress leader insulted the people of Bihar who have voted for AIMIM “Remember what happened to parties in Bihar that kept blaming their failures on “vote cutters” Muslim voters aren’t your jagir,” Asaduddin Owaisi said in a tweet.

The Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday said that to divide the minority votes BJP caught hold of a party from Hyderabad “BJP gives them money and they are dividing votes. Bihar election has proved it,” she said

Last month in Bihar assembly elections AIMIM had won 5 seats. AIMIM party has been facing much criticism from its opponents for dividing the “secular” votes to help the BJP party.

However, Asaduddin Owaisi has dismissed these allegations by saying, so-called secular parties are blaming him for their failures to defeat the BJP.
