BJP’s Concerns and Commitment in Telangana Politics

On Wednesday, Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh met with the BJP election committee and MLC Eatala Rajender, who is now suspended. Raja Singh expressed worry during the discussion regarding the police allegedly filing bogus cases against BJP supporters in the Goshamahal area, particularly followers and connections of the suspended MLA. He highlighted that it is the BJP leadership’s obligation to safeguard and fight for its grassroots party workers.

Raja Singh accused the ruling BRS party administration of targeting the BJP party on purpose because of political rivalry. He stated that the BJP leadership should stand up for its employees and ensure that they are not unfairly targeted by the police.

In response to Raja Singh’s petition, MLC Eatala Rajender informed him that the decision to lift his suspension is in the hands of the party’s top leadership. He told Raja Singh that the party leadership will make a judgment on the issue soon.

During the meeting, Raja Singh reiterated his commitment to the Goshamahal constituency and stated that he will only run for the Assembly seat from there in the next election. He has stated unequivocally that he is not interested in running from any other constituency.

The meeting between Raja Singh, the BJP election committee, and Eatala Rajender takes place in the midst of ongoing political happenings in Telangana, and Raja Singh’s suspension has been a source of disagreement within the party. His suspension, as well as the alleged targeting of BJP employees in Goshamahal, has aroused debate and worry among party members.
