Hyderabad Traffic Police announces traffic restrictions due to President Murmu’s visit

The City Traffic Police have announced certain traffic restrictions due to President of India Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Hyderabad on Friday and Saturday.

From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Saturday, moderate traffic congestion and travel delays are expected at some junctions and stretches, including CTO junction, PNT flyover and junction, Hyderabad Public School Out Gate, Begumpet flyover, Green Lands junction, Monappa junction, Yashoda Hospital road, VV Statue junction, Panjagutta junction, and NFCL junction. Upper Tank Bund stretch will be used by buses traveling from Secunderabad to Ameerpet and Mehdipatnam via Begumpet and Raj Bhavan.

Similarly, traffic will be prohibited from entering Raj Bhavan Road from Monappa junction and VV Statue (Khairatabad) and the stretch will be closed for general traffic on both sides.

Traffic will be prohibited on Panjagutta-Raj Bhavan Quarters Road (Metro Residency), and the stretch will be closed on both sides for general traffic.

Vehicles coming from CTO Junction and Minister Road will be held up for a short time at Rasoolpura. Traffic heading towards Begumpet Airport from Punjagutta and Greenlands junctions will be held up for a short time at Prakashnagar T Junction.

Vehicles traveling from Kukatpally, Balanagar via Fateh Nagar bridge to Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet Road will be detoured at Balkampet Yellamma Temple to Maitrivanam Junction via Satyam Theatre.
