New Smartwatch Launched by Garmin in India for Rs 52,990

New Delhi: Garmin, smart wearables and GPS tracker producer, on Friday launched an all-new Forerunner 745, an advanced GPS smartwatch made for runners and triathletes searching for detailed training data, on-device exercises smartwatch features and much more.

The smartwatch is priced at Rs 52,990 and is accessible in four colors: Whitestone, neo tropic, magma red and dark.

Ali Rizvi, Director, Garmin India said in a statement: “The all-new Forerunner 745 is developed by Garmin’s R&D team understanding the actual need of all the athletes which keeps them away from all the distractions and supports with the detailed performance metrics.”

The smartwatch lets people sync indoor and outdoor exercises automatically from Garmin Connect or other training applications, including TrainerRoad and TrainingPeaks, right to the watch.

It is compatible with Garmin Coach, free training plans that adjust dependent on a runner’s goals and performance.

The watch features tools to keep track of an athlete’s health.

It accompanies wrist-based Pulse Ox sensor that intends to help in giving a more clear image of how athletes are sleeping and adjusting in accordance with altitude acclimation, while the ‘Body Battery’ energy monitor lets athletes keep track of their energy levels to discover the best times for rest and activity.

Furthermore, the menstrual cycle tracking element assists women with adjusting their training to increase improvement potential and plan for approaching races dependent on where they are in their cycle.

The watch can besides stores up to 500 songs and lets people sync playlists from select preloaded music streaming services 3, for example, Spotify, Amazon Music or move music from a PC.

The Forerunner 745 features a battery that can last up to one week in smartwatch mode, as long as 16 hours in GPS mode and as long as 6 hours in GPS mode with music, the organization claimed.
