President to visit Hyderabad on February 13, Traffic curbs in place

According to the latest reports, the President of India will be arriving in Hyderabad on February 13 due to which traffic restrictions have been put into place ahead of his visit.

The city police issued a traffic advisory for Saturday and Sunday in Hyderabad ahead of President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu’s visit to the ‘Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi Samaroham’ at Muchintal in Shamshabad.

To enter Ashrama road from Palamakula village, the public from Hyderabad city must park their vehicles at the west side parking lot behind Swarna Bharat Trust and then proceed to the Statue of Equality and Yagashala.

The general public from Vijayawada, Nalgonda, etc, must exit at Pedda Golconda Exit 15 and enter the Ashrama road at Sangiguda village and park their vehicles at the east side parking near Gollur village, and then proceed to the Yagashala and Statue.

All heavy vehicles using the P1 road (Ashrama Road) between NH 44 and ORR will be diverted to Shamshabad. The general public’s access to the Statue premises would be restricted in the evening hours due to security concerns during the visits of the President of India and the Vice President.

President to visit Hyderabad on February 13

On February 13, President Ramnath Kovind will visit Hyderabad. He will participate in the Sri Ramanujacharya Sahasrabdi Samoroham, which will be held at the ChinnaJeeyar Swami Ashram in Muchintal, on the outskirts of the city.

Officials from the relevant departments were directed to work together to ensure that the visit goes smoothly. R&B officials were directed to begin road repair work and barricading in order to ensure the smooth flow of traffic to Muchintal.

The electricity department is directed to ensure a 24-hour power supply, the medical department to deploy medical teams, and other departments to make arrangements in accordance with the Muchintal protocol.

According to Chief SecretarySomesh Kumar, the President’s visit to Hyderabad should be viewed as an opportunity to elevate the prestige of the Telangana state government and global recognition of Hyderabad. As a result, officials have been directed to coordinate with all departments in order to avoid any flaws in the arrangements and ensure that the President’s visit is a huge success.
