Hyderabad: Minister Ch Malla Reddy today said that Rs 10 cr to be spent for underground drainage in Boduppal and Pirjadiguda areas to overcome overflowing issues.
I have never seen such a calamity of rain fury and floods. Malla Reddy promised to address all issues.
Malla Reddy visited Boduppal, Pirjadiguda areas of submergence, and assured of all help. He tried to pacify the people of the colonies underwaters. Since two days of rains are forecast people have to be cautious he urged.
He interacted with rain victims in the colonies in the area. The minister instructed to plan for drainage works and repair roads, take up sanitation drive. The victims get shelter for food, medicines, and blankets he said.
The government started rescue, relief measures to help victims. The minister said that the victims have to cope with rains fury and floods.
