Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao slammed TPCC president A Revanth Reddy for his lack of agricultural knowledge in a blistering response to Reddy’s statement on Telangana power supply.
Revanth Reddy had indicated that in the state, three hours of power supply with 10 horsepower (HP) pump sets would enough. The Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao refuted this, claiming that farmers primarily utilize 3HP and 5HP pump sets, which require 24 hours of excellent power supply.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao accused Revanth Reddy of making unrealistic ideas in order to mislead people, emphasizing the impracticality of supplying power for only three hours, considering the widespread use of smaller pump sets. He stressed that the Telangana government gives farmers with 24 hours of free, high-quality power and questioned who would replace the present pump sets if the Congress only provided three hours of power.

TheChief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao chastised Congress legislators for making unsubstantiated claims about the Dharani portal, claiming that it is critical for carrying out numerous agricultural projects. He accused Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy of being uncaring about Telangana farmers.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao also vowed to improve the Godavari River embankment near Bhadrachalam with a Rs.1,000 crore investment and proposed a Dalit Bandhu pilot project for the entire tribal zone of Bhadradri Kothagudem district. If re-elected, he promised to improve tribal areas and finish delayed irrigation projects, underlining the government’s commitment to agricultural subsidies and welfare programs for vulnerable groups.
