Unidentified people rob a man of Rs 50 lakh in Afzalgunj

On Wednesday night, unidentified people robbed a man of Rs 50 lakh in Afzalgunj Hyderabad.

According to the police, a person named Jog Singh, who works in the steel industry, gave the Rs 50 lakh to one Mitti Lal Raj and asked him to hand it over at his home. Mitti Lal put the money in a bag and rode his scooter to Jog Singh’s house.

“When he arrived near Sudha Medical store lane in Afzalgunj, two people on motorcycles came up behind him and hit his scooter. He fell on the road, and the offenders stole the cash bag and fled,” Afzalgunj police said.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway.

Three people arrested for robbing a businessman of Rs 10 lakh in Bahadurpura

In a similar case, three unidentified individuals robbed a businessman of Rs 10 lakh in Hyderabad’s Bahadurpura district.

According to the police, the man collected the money from Ambica Iron and Steel Hyderabad Private Limited on Puranapul road and was on his way back when three unidentified people reportedly attacked him and stole the money.

After receiving the information, the Bahadurpura police arrived on the scene and collected CCTV footage from the nearby closed-circuit cameras.

Senior police officers also visited the scene and oversaw the efforts to apprehend the culprits.

The suspects were apprehended by the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force team on Tuesday and handed over to the Bahadurpura police station. The money was returned from the alleged snatchers.
